  • Design the wedding of your dreams with Hawaii Weddings and Events

    I love helping brides make their dreams come true!     This picture was from an intimate wedding that was held at the Turtle Bay Resort for a destination wedding couple from New York.    The bride works at a famous salon (soon to have one open in Oahu!) and had many ideas on what she wanted for her decor, but like most, had a budget that she wanted to work with.

    It took awhile, but I was able to convince the bride to give us some "creative freedom" to prepare her tablescape.    With her colors of sage green, a touch of blue and chocolate brown, we brought in chocolate chiavari chairs, had the perfect linen that not only was green but had a shimmer of blue, and used different heights of vases and assorted flowers to create the romantic dinner table she dreamed of.    The best part of event planning and design is seeing the look on the bride's face when she comes in the room........and when she gives you a hug saying it is incredible and more than I ever expected!
